DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to welcome Roy Evans\, Past President of the Rug Hooking Guild of Newfoundland and Labrador\, as he leads two rug hooking sessions for us! \nThis workshop will be of particular interest to people who enjoy working with their hands and a fibre art as well as to anyone interested in learning about a traditional Newfoundland and Labrador craft and acquiring the skills needed to pursue it independently. \nThis class will teach the basic technique\, allowing enough time for each participant to complete a coaster Kit. \nThe workshop is suitable for adolescents and adults. SUMMARY:Learn to Crochet!
DESCRIPTION:The Pasadena Heritage Society – NL has been blessed with a group of our followers who want to learn to crochet and at the same time give back to the heritage society.  In this Learn to Crochet! series\, participants will learn basic crochet techniques to make Granny Squares will which be joined together to create a blanket.  Once completed\, the blanket will be used as a fundraising prize for the heritage society.  There is no cost to participate in this project; however\, participants will need to bring their own crochet hook (size 5mm).  The series will run for 5 weeks or until the project is completed.
